![]() The best part? Three finger up/down also works with Mail, so I can scroll within the actual mail using the regular two finger scroll, and scroll between the different mails themselves with the three fingers. The most useful out of these, I've found, are the three finger scroll (up/down) - which allows me to switch between the tabs, and the tip tap right which allows me to quickly open tabs (and its left equivalent, which allows me to quickly close them). Tip tap left (mirror of close tab in chrome) - Quits the current application (cmd + Q) Two finger tip-tap left: Re-open closed tab.įiver finger tab: Application switcher - view and alternate between all current apps. Three finger down: Switch to the previous tab (left). Three finger up: Switch to the next tab (right). With that said, my gestures currently are specially optimized for the three most used applications: Browser, Finder, and Evernote. I've set up BetterTouchTool in such a way that the gestures are symmetrical opposites of each other, so that it becomes easy to remember the actions and their opposite equivalents. ![]()
